Dr Nivan Loganathan graduated from the Royal College of Surgeons, Ireland (RCSI) is trained as an Anaesthesiologist, practising in Singapore for almost 20 years. Throughout his nearly two-decade career, Dr Nivan boasts an array of achievements and accomplishments as a Pain Specialist in Singapore.

He received the Long Service Award for his 15-year tenure at National University Health Services, Singapore. During his residency and consultancy tenure at this esteemed institution, Dr Nivan received many compliments and service awards from the benefactors of his compassionate and dedicated care.

He was awarded the prestigious HMDP Fellowship (Learning) Award in Advanced Pain and Neuromodulation in 2018. Dr Nivan completed his Pain Fellowship at the world renowned, St. Bartholomew’s and Royal London Hospitals, United Kingdom. Dr Nivan honed his interventional pain management skills while training at this high-volume centre of excellence. He was also instrumental in starting the neuromodulation service at his department upon returning from Fellowship, and successfully treated many patients suffering from chronic pain conditions.

His dedication and expertise shine through in his clinic, where he frequently showcases his passion for pain management procedures. These procedures encompass a wide range, from spinal cord stimulation (Neuromodulation) to radiofrequency ablation and pulsed radiofrequency treatments, as well as interventions for degenerative and osteoarthritis-related pain. Dr Nivan employs a multi-modal approach to pain management aimed at enhancing functional improvement for his patients.

Beyond his professional endeavours, Dr Nivan’s personal interests, including football and tennis, provide him with firsthand insight into sports-related injuries and their management. He leverages this experience to advise coaches and fellow athletes on injury prevention and treatment strategies.

Above all, Dr Nivan is characterised by his compassion and dedication to his patients. Known for going above and beyond, he consistently strives to achieve positive outcomes in pain management, focusing on restoring functionality and facilitating recovery. His commitment to utilising minimally invasive procedures underscores his mission to enhance his patient’s quality of life.
